The Pilgrim story began in Århus, Denmark, in the summer of 1983, when designer Annemette Markvad took her passion for minimalism, art, and music and turned it into a collection of handmade jewelry that she sold at festivals across Scandinavia and Germany.

Annemette’s family tradition of handmade and heartfelt jewelry continues in Canada today thanks to a team of passionate Montrealers who share her vision and values.

Bijouterie Lavigueur is a family business founded in Québec in 1962. It’s the story of a determined business woman that took the bold decision of opening a retail jewelry store to work in the domain she loved most. A few years later the torch was passed to her sons who turned this small business into a successful chain store. To this day, the company is about to open their 13th store and plan on opening many more!
